- love, love, love -

Love can cause you pain and misery. So, why do we bother to be in a relationship? It’s human nature to desire for companionship. Having that special person that you can call ‘sayang’, text or call when you miss him, and hug him when you’re lying on the bed next to him; means a great deal in your life. You feel completed; the missing piece fits in the empty slot of the puzzle. The whole world sings a grand tune to celebrate your happiness. Everything is perfect.

As time passed by, things started to change. Matter of fact, it was you that changed. You rarely texted him. You barely whisper sweet words to his ears. You wanted something else; something more, something different. The perfection that you’d found has flaws in it. Dishonesty and lies crept in; engulfing your ‘undying love’. Eventually, your soulmate changed as well. By now, you should know that people changed; they can never stay stagnant in a monotonous condition.

Arguments and disagreements became your daily breakfast; such a healthy way to start the day. You found solace on others, and so did he. The groundwork is cracking, and both of you build up walls. Finally, the walls were too high, that you can’t even hear what he said to you; you stopped listening. And soon enough, you would be reading the last chapter of your story, and tears and heart aches would follow suit.

If love kills, does hate heal?
